Some Future Heroscape Expansion Ideas

I love playing Heroscape, especially how you can really build interesting themed armies. It’s cool seeing premade strategies, whether it’s robots vs marros vs samurai vs kyrie.

In case Renegade pays attention to my 3 subscriber blog, here are a couple ideas that I think could be super fun!

  1. Fairy Tales of Grimm Origin: I could see all the different Princes and Princesses from Grimm’s fairy tales being an interesting theme. Maybe you could have four of the dwarves from sleeping beauty. Maybe you could have the Beast’s candleabra. Generally, I think this could play into a very fun and under-explored approach to gaming. Also, given that there’s widespread recognition of that, I think a Heroscape twist would be super cool.
  2. Battle Of Conspiracy Boulevard: All the conspiracies are real, and you can pilot the different factions as they fight for control. Choose whether you will steer an army of aliens, yeti, mole people, or Atlanteans as you seize control of the metropolis
  3. Get Shrekked: I could see a friendly ogre collab between Krug and our boy Shrek.
  4. Wrestlemania: AND HIS NAME IS JOHN CENA. The new 250 point hero is brash, powerful, and more than a little intimidating. With abilities like SUPER SLAM, he can beat the competition, and secure a spot amongst Heroscape’s strongest. Characters like the Undertaker and maybe wrestling dynasties could similarly be honored.
  5. Pirates of the Caribbean: Having an at sea expansion where the scenarios are centered around controlling a ship could be cool. Jack Sparrow vs the crew of Davey Crockett could be an interesting showdown, and could add some interesting Einar things.
  6. Weathering Warcraft: Play as some of the leaders of the most popular MMO. Steer Thrall, Hellscream, Baine Bloodhoof, Sylvanus, or an army of Scarlet Crusaders.
  7. Incident in the Icy Tundra: Some like it hot, and some are stuck in the Arctic Circle. In this alternate world, the creatures of the North are fighting those responsible for global warming directly. Pilot a polar bear, seals team 4, a pack of wolves, or a land orca as you keep it cool.
