On The Move

Today, I made a 15 hour drive back to my hometown to begin the next chapter of my existence.

I like to think of my existence as a series of long form sketches. The producers take an idea, and throw me into it for a year or two. I come out the other side myself, but a little more mature and a little changed.

Reflecting upon this most recent chapter, I think I’ve become more professional, more aware of my own mortality, and more humble. Trying a new industry was hard, and I’m happy that I’ve given it a go. I think that my previous life didn’t have me draw upon my creative and analytical strengths, but it did have me learn perseverance in terms of making friends, money, and muscles.

Hurrah to reinventing myself, and I look forward to sharing new observations soon
