What was the last live performance you saw?
The last musician I heard live was Misterwives, a poppy indie-rock band.
This was a magical performance and the energy was impeccable. The new album they have out is very catchy, and I found myself going through it and getting a little obsessed with individual songs, particularly Nosebleeds.
I also am the type that takes going to a concert as an ability to show off that I’ll learn their catalogue inside and out. Immediately after seeing them, I started to explore their deep cuts, and made a playlist of them.
They play very well live and are extremely charismatic. It’s a good show. The main challenge is their lyrics are a little derivative and repetitive. This means it’s super fun to hear their songs the first few times, but maybe not for the long term.
