I predicted that I’d growth hack TikTok. 1.6 weeks in, and I’ve already hit 60+ followers, have a video with over 5,000 views the day it was posted, and have more than 1000 likes on my content,
My prediction is that it’ll take me 3 months to grow a following of 1,000. This will enable me to get to the next milestone of Men Need Friends too.

Water. Food. Shelter. These are critical for human survival. However, there is one thing that we all need more:
Love.
Love is the reason for everything good in the world. We see people in Africa who have nothing, yet are happy, because they know they are loved. So many people die in desperation, feeling unloved or unwanted. Do we realize how much we are loved?
Because here’s the truth. God created humankind so that He could have a relationship with us. But we screwed it up when the first man disobeyed the one command God gave him. From then on, every person born has been born with an evil nature, inherently selfish and desperately wicked, and the world has begun to decay. Though God loves us so much, He is a just God and a perfect God and cannot abide sin. Romans 6:23 says, “The payment for sin (wrongdoing) is death.” That’s spiritual death- eternal separation from God.
Life is not good; It’s a brutal, cold, exhausting, heartbreaking, aggravating, desperate endeavor. But we got ourselves into this mess, because of our own wickedness. It’s a mess only God can get us out of.
Because though God is a just God, He is also a loving God. That’s why He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, who was God in the form of a man, to be born on earth. He lived a perfect life and sacrificed Himself for the sins of humanity on the cross, taking the punishment of God’s wrath for all of humanity’s evil- your evil- and paying the price for it in full with His death.
He was buried and rose again the third day, showing that He really was God and had power over death and over sin.
Through his death, Christ made a way for us to fix our relationship with God. He gave His life so that we can be made righteous before God. The best thing about it is, it’s free- no works are needed because Jesus paid it all. But for us to receive salvation from our evil we need to accept it. That’s just asking God to forgive you for all your wrongdoing and placing your trust in Christ to save you from eternal death. If you do this, then when you stand before God, your judge, to tell Him why you should be allowed into His kingdom of light, you will have the answer: Jesus Christ paid your ransom and took your punishment for you so you wouldn’t have to.
God loves you, personally, more than any of us even know. He wants to be your best friend. Read His Word, the Bible, starting in the book of John and find out. If you’re not sure, ask, search. Find the truth.
