Absolution In The Eyes of Self

There’s a lot of talk about absolution in the eyes of God. This seems silly to me, why bother wait for glory in the eyes of another, when you can have glory for yourself? Why prostrate yourself when you are the arbiter of your destiny?

I think a lot of problems come from not accepting yourself the way you are. Shame, guilt, fear are all responses to personal insecurities. So, why do we choose to project them onto the world around us, when we can instead grab destiny. When we can forge our own reality.
