Stacking Exercise To The Sun

Describe one habit that brings you joy.

Yesterday I worked out for 3 straight hours and then went bowling a bit after. When I do this, I occasionally refer to it as the gauntlet, but one thing remains consistent, I like to push my body to its physical limitations in a variety of ways back to back.

I started yesterday by doing some weight lifting and bringing my total reps of 225 to 7, ouch. I also exercised my sprained ankle through squats and I dead hung, and made it so that I would struggle to lift anything.

After I could do every weight exercise I could conceive of, I took a Zumba class in the front row. I felt a grim satisfaction that I could do this despite it hurting and my body aching. A sort of supernatural energy that I have is powerful.

I think stacking exercise is good because it really allows you to more easily see how much your limits are, versus what’s something you tell yourself about your endurance.

I find I can do a lot of cardio without it sucking but weight lifting really takes it out of me.
