When I push myself to sweat constantly, be it through exercise, going on long walks, enjoying the sun in summer, or relaxing in a sauna, I feel better about myself and have more energy and confidence.
It can be hard to get started with sweating, as it’s initially uncomfortable to do so. You’re straining your muscles, getting out of breath, or otherwise challenging your body. Obviously this comes with the downside of intermediate pain to get to where you want to go.
To this end, it’s important to figure out how you can get started and continue long enough to see results. If you’re not used to pushing yourself, this is a problem because getting started and building momentum is always the hardest part. It’s the first step that hurts the most.
While there’s plenty of strategies to get started, of varying quality, people work in different ways, and you’re going to need to figure out what works for you.
Good luck and break that sweat. Be tryhard. Accept that you’ll look bad before you break into first place.
