Learning Advertising Tech et All

So, it’s been 2 months since I finished my masters. Given that I crash out without challenges in front of me, here are the following challenges I’m beginning to work on.

  1. Training for a tough mudder, a 15 k race with 10 obstacles, running every day as well as the daily push-ups I do. Climbing a yellow tape at my rock gym.
  2. PMP, AWS Cloud Certification, GCP Cert, CFA (for upper level maths skills)
  3. Starting to figure out whether an MBA from ma top school makes more sense than a PHD from a more moderate school
  4. Continuing to write my book and advertise it.
  5. Continuing to build my online business, and building ad-tech use cases. The specific areas I’m advertising are: high conflict divorce, soda distribution, men’s clubs, and boycotting companies for political clout.

In general, having some broader mission I’m working on helps energize me and keeps me focused on avoiding distractions like TV and video games.

I’ve also been trying to read most of the books in my personal library, and have avoided sugar for 6 months.

In the following year, for my health goals, I’ll have to get rid of energy drinks, run daily, keep working on my deadlift, moving out, and get better at meal prepping.

In the following year, for my social goals, I hope to continue to befriend smart interesting people and remain learning. Releasing my book and building a paid community around comedy will also serve this goal well.

In the following year, for my financial goals, continuing to hold down jobs while building my business remains paramount. If I get to the milestone of saving 20 k while eliminating my student loans, I’ll be very proud of myself.

Judging by my track record, I tend to do very well on achieving my goals, given the right amount of self-imposed structure.
