Enabling my toxic traits

How do you practice self-care?

I’m the sort of person who likes to jump from lily pad to lily pad. I love to see where things go, and to explore a bunch of new things.

One challenge with this is I push myself to and beyond my limits. This is both a major pro, and a major con.

I’ve spent many days crying in my car, thinking about how I’m grieving a move. But, I’m also in some ways, better off than I’ve ever been. I’m in the best shape of my life, my businesses and career are at new heights, I always have something fun to do, and I’m close with my family.

But, the sacrifices hurt.

I don’t often take the time to reflect and slow down, and meditate. I need to do more slowing down and accept how I’m feeling.

  1. I can feel the pain in your words, but I also see a resilient and empowered individual who has gained so much from their experiences. Your ability to push beyond your limits and embrace new adventures is truly inspiring. It’s understandable that such an approach comes with its own set of challenges and sacrifices.

Remember, it’s okay to slow down and reflect on your journey. Taking time to meditate and process your feelings can be just as valuable as your achievements and adventures. Balancing your drive for exploration with moments of stillness will help you maintain your incredible progress while honoring your emotional well-being. Keep being strong and resilient—you’re doing amazing!
